I would like to take the time to issue an apology to all members of our club. Over this last weekend there were a lot of accusations made by myself towards the other members of our Board of Director's. These accusations spurred a very heated debate on our forums that was open to the public. My reaction to being removed suddenly without warning from the board was not handled by myself appropriately. My reaction caused a split between many members of our forum. This was not my intention.
I understand there were many other paths for me to take when addressing this that I did not use. My removal from the board was perceived differently by myself and many members than how it was perceived by the acting board at the time. I brought to light many issues that needed addressing. However I did this in a way that was harmful to our club. I am sorry for all of drama, outbursts, and broken relationships that my reaction caused.
I am glad that the issues are being addressed and our club will be better for it. I believe that in the aftermath there will be more transparency into what the board is doing and where it is leading the club. I believe that the board itself will operate as it should have been all along. Most importantly I believe that this club will be that much strong after this. It shows our ability to see through all of the drama, recognize the real problems and fix them. It shows are ability to pull together as a community to make this community that much better.
