If I'm being honest these auctions are just too difficult to participate it so I stay away...I still like a good ol fashion One Day Sale :)

I like auctions far better, easier to attend and u can bid what u think is fair. I would admit your auctions may have done better with splitting them up a little and giving some time between other vendors auctions to allow ppl to recoop some costs.... just my opinion but you guys have some great stuff!!

If time were added after the last bid was placed in order to give others the opportunity to decide what their price point is and to prevent last minute sniping I would enjoy the auction format a lot more. Additionally, as a bonus I think the vendors would get more for their corals in the end, I know I would have kept biding given the option.

The only issue I see about this is that this may delay the auction indefinitely.

Personally, and this is just my opinion, if someone wants a coral bad enough they'll be there to watch it at the last minute haha. It does make it harder though when you've bid on multiple corals

Totally agree. I got sniped in Colins colony Sunny D's auction a few days ago and didnt complain about it. I figure I should have been watching it at the end to make s ure I got it or put a higher bid in from the start.

As far as getting more money for auction items, maybe. I think in the end the vendors who do the auctions benifit most from having potential buyers new and old check out all their corals for sale when they pickup the items they won at the auction. My wife and I went to pickup the two corals we won for $61 and ended up leaving having spent $288. If you multiply that by 7-10 more auction winners doing the same thing the seller get a bunch of potential buyer trafic and will move a bunch of other corals. Chris has some very nice corals for sale and has a pretty cool setup, I know we will be back to buy more.

Btw thanks Chris for the time you spent talking with my wife and I about many of the corals.
