Bayer Coral Dip on LPS Corals???

#1
I read a while ago about using Bayer (insect killer from Lowes) as a dip for SPS corals to kill pests.

Does anyone know if it is safe for LPS corals like favias, hammer corals or blastos? Also wondering about using it with soft corals...

thanks.

I am asking about bayer for a box of new corals. They are just a mix of soft corals and LPS for my small tank. I have a bottle of iodine that i have used before. From my limited "preventive coral dipping" some corals seems to get stressed with iodine. Guess I am mostly looking for a recommendation for something other than iodine to prevent tiny crawling bad things.

I would think the insect killer will be just as harsh, (if not more so), than the iodine.
I have had great experience with lugols iodine as a dip, for softies especially.

I like ReVive, which was developed by Julian Sprung. It has two natural extracts (spruce oil and citrus oil), which is why it smells like Pine Sol. It's extremely effective in getting all kinds of nasties to drop off the coral.
