Best LFS to tour with a new reefkeeper?

#1
A friend and I finally decided to MAKE time to get together this Friday by playing hooky from work, having a nice lunch, and she wants to see some of the LFS. I've been up keeping my tank from an isolated cave the last 6 months, hence not a lot of time on here, or to any LFS, so...anything new? We'll see Aquamart, Elite...I heard Keys Island closed, maybe swing by Todd's. Anything else?
She's new to SW but is an avid diver and has always kept FW tanks, but the loss of her husband recently pushed her to get the tank that "they" always wanted to have. I'll encourage her to join here as it was an invaluable resource to me when I started with an abundance of great, sound advice, as well as some really great fellow hobbyists. Any recommendations or new stores? We live out in the Smokey Hill / Gun Club area of SE Aurora. Thanks!

I don't think Keys is closed, unless I've missed it...
I'd hit Neptune's, too. Too bad you're not doing it on a Saturday, or you could swing by Aquatic Arts. Definitely hit Aquamart and Elite.

Sounds like a fun day!!

Dangit, now I wanna go 'fishin'

Yeah, Saturday would be nice so we could also hit the Grand Opening up in Ft. Collins. I forgot about Neptune's! Thanks. She bought an up and running tank from a buisness that was closing, so there's no tank build thread for her, but it's a nice, beginner 55 gallon.

On the north end of town, Mind Blowing Corals has a great selection of frags to ogle. They are in Broomfield. Liquid Kingdom is also in Broomfield.

I was at Keys less than a week ago, so they are still going strong.

Chris (Aquatic Art) is usually there at about 4-6 pm M-F, just contact him to make sure.

Thanks guys, we only made a few shops but had some great lunch time happy hour drinks! Of everything she saw, she wants (liked) clams the most. I told her she has some reading to do and research on lighting, etc. I brought her over some long tentacle leather toadstools, large green button polyps and pink palys that all looked great in her tank after we got back from lunch. I encouraged her once again to join here, hopefully she will soon.
