at reef stock we paid $75 for a rainbow. he has split now and there is two. the guy said he gonna do a good deal since they sell for $150. Did i get ripped off?

If you look around the net, rainbow anemones go from $50 for a small to $150-200 (market value). $75 seems like a fair deal though every once in a while you can find one slightly cheaper on the forums if someone is tearing down a tank, moving, or just need to get rid of it. Also not all rainbow nems look the same, some are more vibrant and if marketed right can bring in more money. If your happy with it, then you got a good deal and now that its split, you can sell one and get your money back!

It really depends on the color and how much you like it, if you like the color than I'd say you didn't get ripped off

Depending upon the size and coloring the price will vary. I agree with the others. If you like it then you didn't get ripped off and now you have two. Let me know if you plan on selling one.

lol I love the color, but cost is a big importance in my life. im gonna be selling my lights and alot of stuff and be upgrading to 125. there is 2 right now. the mother split and if both of them do and I have 4, I will most likely sell 1 or 2. I really want that gonzo's sunburst, but 300 is alot.

I'm with you there. I don't see myself paying that much for a nem ever. This is still just a hobby and i could use $300 for far too many other things.
