Plus I cut a lot of metal and these cuts are so clean compared to the abrasive chop saw. Should have gotten it when I built my stand!

X-Axis progress

I got quite a bit more done yesterday. X-Axis is complete and Z-Axis is almost done.

Racks and motor

I was able to install the Rack and Pinion racks on both axis as well as the NEME 23 Stepper Motors.

First real problem

Well, it looks like I am missing one part - a pulley for the motor. This basically stops the build. Luckily, I was able to contact the parts company (cncrouterparts.com) and they are going to overnight the part for Saturday morning delivery. $65 for the shipping, but I want to use the machine over the weekend! I might mess around with some of the electronics and pick up a touch screen monitor and stand.
