compatibility question

So my parents had just bought my three little damselfish yesterday, but now i am looking into the future.

I know that i want a pair of clowns, and I want to know if the damselfish will rip the clowns to shreds.

And also, what fish are compatible with clowns, or I guess what are good fish that will be safe in a 30 gallon fowlr tank?

I'm trying to find a nice way to say no, clowns are also damsels you see. In a 30g, that would be too small. Sorry to rain on your parade.

+1, also damsels, damsels are all territorial, even within the same species, and the 3 you have may end up as one in a small system, I had 3 talbots, now down to 2 in a 75.

yep - same here - had 3 clowns in a 90 and they still edged out the third one. Never did find a body either. Too many crabs and shrimp.
