Can you use CoralRX to dip multiple frags, or do you need to make a new batch for each frag? Also, will it help get rid of red slime algae?

Yep, Elite carries it. But wait, I have a full big bottle that I'll sell you for cheap. Never even opened I don't think.

Derek, would a 50/50 peroxide to tank water work? I could do multiple frags at a time in this as well right?

Yes drew that would work. I used red slime remover and worked perfect. Pieces I recently got are happy and slime free. I always put red slime remover in my dip just in case it has some not noticeable to the eye. Got burned a few years ago.

If you are trying to sell or trade in those corals i wouldnt peroxide dip! They will be real ****ed off and might take some time to recover. I would advise against unless you arent in a hurry to get rid of the frags

I use coralRx all the time for doing multiple frags. But I only use it once don't try to re-use it. Ill often fill a 5 gallon bucket with 1 to 3 gallons of water depending on the size or qaunity of frags and add a small powerhead and the correct dosage of coralRX for 5-8 minutes then rinse in fresh water. Ever minute or so ill take the power head and blast each frag really well.

I know they are gonna be mad, but if I dip them myself they'll give me more money. Don't really have a choice since I need to get the tank down and nobody on here wants to buy the stuff.

Technically you are supposed to make a new one for each frag that you dip. Something about contamination and parisites and stuff.

I however will do 5 frags at the same time. I am not sure if i would do 5 frags back to back though.

I wouldn't pre-dip frags for the swap, as people will want to dip frags at home and 2 back to back dips can harm corals. I think the soonest you ca repeat a coral rx dip is 4 days.

What would you guys reccomend. Should I even pre dip my corals before the swap? Never seen anything or had any issues and I always dip new corals before going into QT, and then dipped again before going into the DT. Other than an aptasia that pops up here and there (have peppermints and aptaisa eating file fish) ive nenver seen or dealt with any pests, however I dont want to feel responsible if someone gets something. Never done a frag swap before, any thoughts?

P.S., I have over 30 frags I plan on bringing to the swap, up to and including a bubble gum monster chalice frag w/ 3 eyes.

For a peroxide dip how much do you add? Or dip it in straight peroxide? I have no coral dips so its either freshwater or peroxide from what I've read. Can you tell me how you do it Dbarnes? Would really appreciate it man.

Yes. The directions say to mix a new batch for each frag.

I used to dip new frags too.

Red slime? Thet's what it claims
