does anyone have one of these that works right?

i ordered a factory second (supposed to work fine just minor blemishes) 7 months ago. got it and it didn't work right. they admitted there was a problem with the factory seconds and said they would replace ...they replaced it alright ...with another factory 2nd that didnt work ...lol
i sent that one back in june i think and they still dont have one in stock ....i finally told them today to just refund my money ....they said since it has been so long they have to send me a check ...the only reason its been so long is because i have been waiting on them
if you ask me thats pretty crappy customer service ..if it was me (i know its not) but if i had that happen to a customer i would gladly refund their money and send them a new probe when they came in apparently they have too many unsatified customers to make that feasible or they dont care either way i can be pretty sure that i wont be doing business with these folks again ....ill report back with my final outcome :( but i might have a rkl w/extras for sale soon!

My black Friday purchase this year is a reef controller, I'm look more at the Neptune Apex. Did you have to do a separate temp probe for that to work? A friend has the separate module for salinity on the Apex, and said he had to get another temp probe.

i did get a separate module that does ph and salinity the original temp probe still works though ...personally i think im gonna look into the reefangel if DA can't satisfy me ....heard bad things about both apex and DA

they did end up refunding my money via paypal the next day ....i will still probably never buy anything from them again unless they send me a free sg probe to prove to me there product and customer service is worth a crap ....yea thats just the kinda guy i am :)
