I heard that they like warmer water. I had some from gonzo and they melted away. My tank don't het over 78. Wouldn't think A few degrees would make a difference.

My tank is almost always sitting at 78.5 degrees. I just raised it a tad, so maybe that might help.

wonder why? ...i just floated mine and plopped them in i didnt dip them (taboo i know) maybe if you dipped them it stressed them to much?...but mine were open within a couple hours
