Well I finally caught him! Been trying for months now to get him, but he would never go into the trap. Guess he was finally hungry enough to risk it. I took all the hermits and snails out of the tank to go full zeo, and because I wanted a pink tail trigger. All that was left was a few emerald crabs which the wife caught him munching on tonight. So I snagged it from him, placed the trap next to where he was, and in less than 5 mins was enjoying the sweet victory of pointing my finger at it and taunting him!

I would be willing to DBTC this to someone else's reef tank! I know there are a few of you crazies out there that get your jollies from this kind of thing. LOL. He is a good 3-4 inches.

I would love to have him but my sump and tank are not up and running yet. Maybe I talk lance into tossing him in his sump, since he is right down the street from you.

Probably! I think it was about a year after setting up the tank that I saw him for the first time.

So I dont know if the little bastard is playing dead or what...but he's not moving anymore. Anyone know if these things do? I mean after all he survived being transported in a dry enviroment for who knows how many days when the live rock was shipped in...and last weekend when I broke the tank down he was living in the rock in empty garbage can. But he cant survive one night in a bucket???
