Diatoms....

Just got done stocking my tank after cycling it for 1.5 mnths. Now my sandbed is brown and unsightly. What did I do to cause these?

It's normal for a new tank.

My new tank did this as well. I bought 20 snails and they ate it all up.

Josh my tank is 6 months now and I'm still fighting it on occasion. Best thing to do is drive the nutrients to 0 for awhile than bring them back up around .05-.06

Get a bullet dragon goby! I just dealt with this 5 days ago! It was everywhere! In five days my goby has eaten almost all of it! And he is super cool! Lol
