The Petco in Norhern Colorado Springs is awesome, two of SCMAS members work there and they also have frag tank setup.Because of there sales volume they can order more stuff then the regular store.Plus they will special order too.

Best petco I've ever been too. Brian has taken huge initiative and turned it around. met Jim just the other day there as well. Have received unparalleled help and customer service. I drive 30 minutes out of my way to visit their store

The petco near me has always been great. The lady there knows her stuff and from what she stated, she buys from the the same suppliers and can order me whatever I want with early notification. I have a fish I bought there, my first fish, and he is still alive with no issues.

The few times I've run into someone that has any knowledge working in the fish department I've never seen them a second time working there. The fish always look terrible and I fear the same will become of Live Aquaria and Divers Den.

Ya that is what I fear, but on the other end we can hope that petco learns from live aquaria and their in store product improves

Funny what a mixed bag of Petcos there are out there. Maybe corporate needs to take a look at stores like the north springs store to see why they're so successful and others aren't.

I live right by that one and they constantly have ich. I've never been impressed with their livestock or the knowledge of the employees. There were 2 people that I spoke to a week apart that were both knowledgeable and I only ever saw them that one time and they were gone.
