It was the sedra 3500 that was on there but you can use the sedra 5000 as well, or any needle wheel pump.

So is it essentially a large chamber with a built in skimmer? or is there there a separation that forces the flow through the skimmer area?

Basically a large chamber with built in skimmer and media basket,I always thought it would work great for mangroves.
