Hey guys, my sand and tank in general haven't been as clean since I lost my urchin during the move. I was wondering if you think a fighting conch or two would do as good of a job as the urchin did. I would get another urchin, but I was getting annoyed at all the things it moved. Also, does anyone know where I could pick some up?

I have 1, would like a few more. I am not sure how much they keep it clean. I think my Diamond goby does a better job. Also have a sand sifting starfish to keep it clean.

I have 2 or 3. Fun to watch. They seem to work but not sure how hard. Just bought a diamond goby to help out.

Sand stars do great, but the conch kinda just move once in a while. The sand sifting gobbies do fantastic but if you have fine sand they will make a mess of your tank.

I have fine sand and already have a shrimp goby so once I get another pistol shrimp he should stir the sand a bit. I might just bite the bullet and get another urchin, he did a phenomenal job. I don't think my 58g is big enough for a sand sifting star, I thought they were for bigger systems

Cucumber but purely because its less common than a starfish imo.

I really enjoyed my tiger tail cuc. Nevermind the expensive sps/lps/z&p/clams I had, my nieces loved the tiger tail.

The "spikes" aren't hard, they are just for show.

Mine looked like this (thanks melev)
