Wow so I guess he had a successful batch? Stopped following that report a while back...

Price though...ouch. Paid less for my car lol

I like how for 4k you get a fish that is a runt, doesn't have its internals together right and is missing fins, as stated in the description. I rather spend $4 and get the nemo movie.

Nice. so hopefully in a year or two they come down to a more reasonable price.
Exactly. Wait until 10 people are breeding multiple batches and watch the price drop!!

I wouldn't put a maroon clown in my tank if you paid me that kind of money. Let alone pay that kind of money for a maroon clown. Now... they get that pattern on an ocellaris... I'd put that in my tank in a heartbeat.

OK...I wasn't going to say it at first...but why sell a fish that would ordinarily be culled and risk the genetics of the line this early in a breeding program???

I'm with you, though I like percs more. Keep maroon, tomato all those freaks away from my tank... They bite hard!

Not a fan of maroon's either.

I don't agree with him selling the mutations and fish that should not be bread. But I do understand he has a lot of cost in this and needs to recoup that after 3 years of them not breeding.

It'd be far better to just ask for investors now that they're breeding, rather than selling a fish with serious medical issues for $4000.
