* Complexly healthy, colorful, and 100% aquacultured reef coral .*
======== 3 for $20 from the following ========
-- Rainbow Montipora $10 for 1" round frag. (Blue base with red, orange, yellow, and green polyps). Best in low to med light, and med flow. Rainbow Montipora is an encrusting montipora. It's growth pattern will conform to that of the rock and doesn't shelve much.
-- Orange Montipora Digitata: $10 for 1.5" frag. $5 for 1" small frag This is a great beginner SPS, any flow and any light conditions, this coral does great and stays nice and orange
-- Purple Montipora Digitata $10 for multiple branched 1.5" frag. -- These are big since I had a HUGE colony fall and break. Purple corals need high light and this is no exception. It is good in low or high flow but I have this at the top of the tank and it is a good deep purple
-- Idaho Grape Montipora Capricornis $10 for 1" round frag. A quarter coin is just about 1" (15/16" to be exact) so it's a good measure since egg crate holes, or frag plugs can vary in size. This is purple, needs more light than orange but is a solid spiraling coral that provides a lot of visual interest to corals. Plus, inhabitants hide in the shelves this coral creates.
-- Glow Orange MontiporaCapricornis$10 for 1" round frag. This is a great cap that spirals creating shelves. Great in any light or any flow and the orange on this really pops. Mix this with the purple and they will grow and shelve together
-- Acropora Hydnophora: $10 for 1" multibranched frag. Really Neon Green -- and has a hairy texture (This has more movement than milipora) and likes high flow; this acro doesn't play well with others so give it a few inches to ensure will not touch other corals.
================== end 3 for $20 -========
-- Green Bali Slimer Coral -- AcroporaYongei ($10 for1" frag). All Acropora corals are the near the hardest coal to keep. This though for me is the easiest of all the acropora's, but still needs very stable water parameters. This is a sharp crisp green.
-- Blue Chalice Echinopora $10 for 3/4" round frag. This is a baby blue chalice that plates, shelves and encrusts, has sweeper tentacles that come out at night (like all Chalice do). This coral is ideal in med light and low orhigh flow.
-- Yellow Scroll Coral --Turbinaria: $10 for 1" round frag. This is a really rigid coral and grows slow, but it is truly yellow, it's the only true yellow coral I've seen or owned. I have several other SPS that are supposed to be yellow, but this one stands out.
-- Light Blue Tip Acropora Staghorn. $10 for 1" frag. Fast growing acro coral with long thin branches with bright light blue coloration on its growth tips. I find it likes high light but medium to low flow
--Flower Pot Montipora Capricornis: $10 +3/4"x3/4" frag. Cream Green base with blue polyps, nice contrast when mixing and matching Capricornis. In my experience, this cap does not like high light. If you put it in lower flow, the polyps come out more, thus giving it a more blue look.
--Montipora Velvet Spongodes: $10 +1" frag. This is a very unique montipora. I only keep 4 green corals in my reef, and this is one of them. It shelves out, up and downward, creating caves that tank mates and shrimp love. Also, it has stalagmites that give this a great texture and appearance. I call this a reef builder as a lot of other corals grow off of this one. This monti is good in high and med light. Really likes and looks better in high flow.
-- Green/Yellow Pocillopora Damicornis: $10 for 1" multibranched frags. What I like about this coral is it is bushy and tolerates really high flow. Acro trapezia crabs love this coral and form that symbiotic relationship which is a plus. I think it needs high flow and does better in high light, but I've had the coral in lower light and it does well. In the AM, when my LEDs are on (with more whites) I always notice how yellow it is. In the evenings, when there is more blue from 14K Halides + more blue LEDs, it's back to a light green.
--Branching Frogspawn Coral - EuphylliaParadivisa: $5 per head. The Branching Frogspawn has puffy green arms with purple tips that sway back and forth in the gentle currents that's hard to ignore. My clowns (true percs) host this coral. Excellent for a new, or well established reef alike.
--Branching Hammer Coral - $10 for 2 heads. It's very much like frog spawn but has bluer tips and the arms are more like hammers, thus it's why it's called a hammer. Easy coral to keep.
--War Coral - FavitesPentagona: $10 for 3/4" round frag. I love this coral. A deep red color, and easy to keep. I started with this coral sum 7 yrs ago, three little head, and not it's taken over a small rock, and grows off onto the sandbed, and that is where I frag it. Has feeder tentacles that come out at night, but they are really short but fun to watch.
--Long Arm Leather coral $10. This is a great beginner coral, and has yellow highlights. The long arms give this a stunning effect when it sways in the currents. $20 for large colony.
--Acan, 10+ heads $20. Low light, and has multiple colors
--Aztec Dreams Cyphastrea. $10 for 3/4" round frag. I aquired this from Rick here in Denver and it's like nothing I've seen before so since I'm a the point of fragging it, what better homage than to name it after him. It's golden in color with light eyes.
--Clump of Nuclear Hollocost Pallys. $10. has a lot of texture and a solid robust coral that is good for the beginer.
