You can run a small bead of caulk on the interior and exterior in clear to insure no water gets under the stand. It will pull up with ease when its time to move again just make sure u use chalk and not silicone

I used PVC shower pan liner from home depot. The stuff that goes down before tile and what not. Its thick, durable and can be glued in segments to curve up walls and corners.

I should also add it can be bought in rolls or by the foot. When I did mine I actually drilled a hole through the floor and added a drain to the crawl space sump pump and sealed with the liner in the event I developed a nasty leak or something. Of course this was easy for me as I had access to plumb it that way. I realize this may not be an option for you.

I have both my 150 and my 110 directly on the hardwood without issue. I have spilled water previously and typically it will sponge back out if it goes under. I have a view through the bottom of the 150 and can say that there is nothing wrong with the floor underneath. I had a 72 where the 110 is for 2 years and when I moved it there wasn't anything wrong with the wood. I would think that putting a liner underneath might prohibit the woods ability to evaporate any water that did get under the tank but that is just MHO.
