Frogspawn stand?

Hey guys,
Im looking for ideas on anyway I can get my frogspawn off the sand. As of now I have it perched on a 1 1/2" pvc connection that is pushed into the sandbed. I cant just extend the fitting because it barely stands now. I have lost countless heads and I know someone has thought of something to fix this problem.

Glue the base to a thin flat rock maybe
To add to this, I started drilling holes into my rock before gluing and haven't knocked a frag off it's spot ever since.

I though about gluing the pvc to a flat piece of acrylic and putting the sand overtop of it. See if any others have some ideas that might be easier! Also I have drilled numerous hole for frag plugs but Im not willing to move this guy up by the SPS. A small part of it is under my Birds of Paradise and it streches out just to sting it.

Sorry for the silly question, but are you saying that frogspawn laying on the sand is a bad thing? I believe that i have peices of frogspawn that came off of a branch and is now laying around the sand bed. it still looks like it is doing well and i hadn't figured out what to do with it as it moves round with either water movement or possibly the fish move it.

Having the coral on or near the sand isn't an issue. I believe powermonkey is saying his piece keeps falling over or gets knocked over and he's looking for a more permanent solution to the coral's placement.

I would probably do as others have suggested and glue it down. I'd probably just glue the base to a piece of rock and stick that between some other rocks

To clarify, the problem is that as new heads grow they are not only covered by the growth above they are to close to the sand and therefore dont get light or flow and subsequently die. I believe if I can get the coral up of the sand several inches it will be much healthier. I can keep it upright where it is but im looking for suggestions to raise it.

Thanks, and good luck with your frogspawn. I'll try to get mine to attach to some rock or something.
