He's about 2.5 inches...ish? Maybe?

Idk. I've had a fascination with Radiata Lionfish for ages, and I have a large one sitting in quarantine...

I need him gone before he gets himself eaten!

I'll take some interesting frags, or a fish that is large/interesting enough to not get itself eaten...

I'll need help catching him though, little bastard is fast...

turn out the lights and ease him into a corner with your hands, best way I've found. Other ways; with lights off shine a flashlight in its eyes and use your ninja skills to catch him, barbless fishing hook (smallest you can find), fish trap, throw your lion in and wait for the clown to get eaten. HTH

Currently? No...he's swimming around completely unsuspecting evading my occasional attempt to "rescue" him... Doesn't know whats good for him.

He's got until Friday or so before Sir Lionfish comes and makes lunch out of him.

I saw a video on YouTube last week of a clown actually hosting a lionfish. It was amazing. I'll try to find the link, but if I slack Definately worth searching for it to check it out.

So, maybe it would all work out. ;)

well heck. that ain't too far from me. Whats his/her temperment like. I just got a single oc that is super mellow and was thinking about trying to find him a her. This one is mellow to the point of petting and i wouldn't want him to get thashed on. What do you think?

Well, I can sure offer him a home. I'm off tomorrow too so.....


I have 7 chromis in my 125g, guess one more wouldn't hurt either.

How much for both and when?

I'd take a trade for some interesting frags? Beginners / easy to care for ones...zoas, what have you.

Or whatever you think is fair, cash wise. I don't really care.

Anytime tomorrow is fine, you'll need to come here and help me catch them though, I'm terrible at it haha.
