Give me some advice please!

#1
I have been keeping a fish only with live rock saltwater tank for the past 5 years. It is a 110 tall with about 130 pounds of live rock and reef safe fish. I have a nice set of LEDs as well. About 3 months ago I put a piece of frogspawn in it and it is doing great. Now I think it is time to add some more softies and or corals to the tank and see if I can get my tank rocking even more.
I want to know if your opinion what would be the best things for me to start putting in my tank? Are there any softies that are easier to care for then others? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ryann

I'd start with a hammer, torch, or welso brain. Don't need much light and if your frogspawn is good, you'll be fine.

There are a lot of mushrooms that look nice as well. I'm a sucker for leathers so I'd put some of those in as well.

I love zoas. Some are easier to care for than others, so do a little research on the ones you like the looks of.

+1 on mushrooms. I also like ricordias, candy canes (trumpet coral), pipe organs, and goniaporas (or alveoporas, which look similar).

Those are all good choices. Other easier corals would be softies like Xenia or green star polyp. They are neat to watch flow in the tank, but they can take over a tank quickly too so it is best to keep them isolated on a small rock "island" that you can keep trimmed back. I have some GSP and some Waving hand anthelia (Xenia family). You can have if you are ever up north.

I have a large Devils Hand Leather that would be a great starter coral! Its at least 8"+ across by 10"+ tall attached to a small football sized rock. I would sell for $60 it you were interested.

If you want to try an easy SPS, try some Montipora Digitata.
+1 on xenia (it MOVES!!!)
+1 on zoas

The world is your oyster! (oysters not recommended)
If you need some Xenia or Digitata I have some frags you can have. I'm in Fort Collins.

Ensure your PO4 is low enough. Frog spawn is rather tolerant but some acans, zoanthids, and other corals are not. Fish only tanks tend to be high on the nutrient side since fish don't care about No3 and po4.

Good luck.
