Lately I've been pulling some corals from my tank and my hands and forearms are getting pretty banged up. I have the shoulder length gloves but forget about fine motor with those things.
What do you guys use? I need to protect myself!

I am pretty sure I am having allergic reactions to something or I am actually getting small fragments under my skin from the corals. Just really irritating and they take a while to go away. I haven't noticed any bristle worms but I know I have them. It's only on more sensitive skin like wrists and the back of my hands.

Mike and I noticed that we sometimes felt sick after dipping zoas. It was as if we had a mild zoa poisoning type situation going on. And my hands often reacted negatively to frogspawn contact. Nitrile gloves helped in both cases.
If you're getting minor infections from the bacteria in the water, maybe wiping down with peroxide when you're done working in the tank will help?

I'm going to try and find some of the nitrile gloves that are shoulder length.
