I'm getting ready to hang my 2x250 metal
Halide fixture. It's similar to a sunpod in design, I think it's an aquamedic fixture.
I was going to hang it with chains from the ceiling with bycicle hooks but the beams aren't spaced the right way to do this, (I tried to find them With a stud finder and it didn't work). I also have this hanging setup with what I think is airplane cord (?) that would screw into the ceiling.
I've also got wall hangers rated for 50lbs I could use for both or the bycicle hooks.
Any suggestions on how to hang a fixture? Thanks guys, haven't had to modify things this much to make them work, so figured I was wrong somewhere.
