Hey! Thanks samking. Sorry to write back so slow. I got through my DIY phase on my 20 gallon salt tank. Was my first. I used to build PVC overflows and plumbing, custom sumps... They all functioned fine. But when I did this tank, I didn't cut any corners or try to save money. I will never DIY again beyond ATOs. Having a drilled tank with proper plumbing an Eshopps R-100 sump Eshopps skimmer, etc. Its the most quiet, efficient, safe, and controlled setup I have ever had. Ive quickly learned that this is not a hobby that you should try to save money doing. Offset your costs by fragging. Beyond that, I am willing to pay more for leaving the engineering of super awesome equipment to the geniuses so I can truly just relax and enjoy.
This all just reminded me that I need to set up a build thread!:brick:
