Easiest way buy them used from someone else of course thats also why large angels tend to cost more used than new. Second make sure you get good specimens to start with, begin treatment with prazipro day 1, be ready to copper at the first sign of scratching with Seachem Cupramine (by far the best copper treatment IMO), and get them eating well.

Hopeful ending to a terrible day starting off. Dave at Aquamart took great care of me and I applaud his customer service. They ended up having another Blueface, which I saw there last week. Looks very healthy, with no signs of anything on him. Great coloring, great eater. Fingers crossed!

Also picked up a flame angel at the same time, hopefully they will QT together okay. If not they'll get separated, but so far so good.

Exactly my plan, Prazi already started, and Cupramine on hand. Will watch these guys closely! Thanks for the great advice and input!!

Definitely a shame, a sincere thanks for the support/advice/input! New fishies are doing great so far. Haven't even had to do one water change yet. I'll do one this Thurs and include a second round of Prazi just to be sure. I think the large piece of liverock I threw in there has helped with ammonia control?!? Either way, it seems to be working.

The only fish I had in QT were the Blueface and the Achilles, I think you knew I lost the Achilles after the first day? Not a fun way to start out. :( MUCH more hopeful and optomistic this round. The blueface and flame angels seem to be getting along in a small tank, though I was prepared to separate if they weren't, and are looking and eating great. Hopefully I'll pick up my remaining angels this week, or sometime soon!

You can use my UV sterilizer on your qt, it does help with tangs and angles. Really it ok to use.
