Help my bulkhead started leaking!

I looked in my overflow cause I had a midas and cleaner wrasse missing and there they were I got them out and one of my bulk heads started leaking I'm sure sand or debree is not letting it seal what can I do?

Turn off main return let the water stabilize. Drain the water from the overflow or use a bucket underneath. Unscrew the bulkhead and clean out under it. This assumes that your overflow is watertight which it usually is.

Thank you could I clean it out with a shop vacuum or something cause its hard to reach my tanks 30 inches deep

Did the bulkhead crack at all? The thin abs bulkheads can do that after a year or two sometimes (had that happen a few years ago). Might also be the rubber gasket needs cleaning/replaced.
Took me forever and a day to figure out that it goes on the inside of the tank.
