Bring some windex and paper towels to clean off where the suction cups go - dirt / grease is the primary reason for failure.
And make sure they aren't cold. When we went to pick up the 180 we couldn't get them to stick because the rubber wasn't playable enough.

We are definitely on for tomorrow @ 11:00 at Neptunes. They just called to say the tank has arrived.

Can I get a head count for those who are planning on helping at my home in Aurora. I know szavoda is going to be there, anyone else?

Thank you all for being able to help with this!!

Can we spend 15 - 30 mins after to Neptune's to go to Aquatic Art? Never been there and I think it is close...

I will pull the suction cups out of the garage tonight.

I would think so, we need to get salt anyway and they have 200G boxes of Reef Crystals for $44/each. I just have to check with my roommate, he is driving, so I don't want to make that decision without his go ahead.

I noticed I have only 6 suctions instead of 8. I can swing by HF and get two more unless you think we are good with 6 or anyone else has them...

I am heading to harbor freight right now. I will pick up a couple while I am there. I am not positive we will need them, but it would be nice to have them if we do. Thanks for letting me know. I will see you in a few hours.

I want to send out a huge thanks to drakus, szavoda (Shawn), and SeaMonkey (Jason) for thier help moving the tank today. It made things soooooooo much easier. Everything went VERY well. I don't think it could have gone better.

I also want to thank Shawn;s neighbor, Elliot, he is a reef fanatic in the making. Can.t wiat to see his future tanks!

No problem. Glad I could help. Let me know if you need anything else. Also would be cool to stop by and see the tank when it's done.

Absolutely! Anyone is welcome to come see the tank. There won't be much to look at for a while, but will keep everything updated in my build thread.

Happy to help! Good luck with it!

Stopped by Tropical Pet Oasis in Parker on my way home and picked up 2 vivid clowns, a scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp, and a cleanup crew. Finally got my little 28ga tank started :)
