Help Selecting a RO/DI System

Like most equipment in this hobby, there are so many options and configurations, without a clear advantage over another.
At this point, I’ve narrowed it down to these two Spectrapure models.

My Needs: ~15 Gal/Week. Wanting to connect into a sink faucet/tap as needed; not a permanent set-up.

Seems like the first is a better value, but is there something I’m missing/not understanding?

Is Chloramine a big issue - some say yes, some say no – What’s the local group thoughts/(on Denver Water - in Centennial area)?
Seems like long term cost would be higher with the extra stage, is it worth it? Or would the extra filter extend life of membrane?
Recommendations for a comparable unit in the same price?

So the main thing I like to point out is that RO/di systems are upgradeable. You can always add more chambers as you need them.

My personal opinion is that you pick up this from BRS:
$150
http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-4-stage-value-ro-di-system-75gpd-2.html

Or
$240 for the lower waste water upgrade and TDS meter saves about $10 buying them together
http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-4-stage-value-water-saver-plus-ro-di-system-150gpd.html

Its a solid system to start with and you can always upgrade it.

If you want to add chloramine removal

$20 for the canister
http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-chloramines-upgrade-kit.html
$9 for the filter
http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-chlorine-voc-carbon-block-filter-5-micron.html

If you want to reduce the waste water and increase total output:
$60
http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-150-gpd-water-saver-upgrade-kit.html

You will save a bit of money if you buy it all in one kit.
$310 for this one will all the gadgets and upgrades
http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-6-stage-universal-water-saver-plus-ro-di-system-150gpd.html

Also, If you want to connect it to a sink something you need to remember is that 75gpd or 90 gpd
you will be waiting several hours to fill up your containers.

I recommend getting a 55g food grade poly drum to store RO water in if you have the room for it.

I will let other people chime in on their opinions on this subject.
