So i bought this a while back used and have finally gotten around to setting it up. Problem is it didnt come with a book and I have no clue what I am looking at r how to set it up. I feel like a dumb*** but can someone help me out?
Dillon, do you remember the simplified owners manual link? I used to have it on my phone, but have since deleted it. I can't seem to find the link posted on here, think Tony posted it.....
I don't know what I have and how to use it.There is the head module,some 3 pin appliance modules,lamp modules,plug in filter module and a two way powerline interface.I also have some cables, one is obviously the temp; the other I assume is for the x10 plug in.

Start by looking at the above link, that's the official manual. Robert, it sounds like you have the head unit, temp probe, and a bunch of cables. Am I correct?
OK, I looked through and read it but there is still some things I'm not understanding.I know i can plug in all my equipment into the modules but why is the lamp module only 2 prong(no ground) and what do I do with the filter modules?
You know not to be rude but after all the reading i have just done on this it sounds like the x10 modules are pretty obsolete and are extremely finicky(alot of issues). You should find out if you can plug in a Dc8 into this unit it would solve alot of your issues(just my opinion).
Turns out, you can. I remember someone having a DC8 plugged into the older version and it worked fine. I'm not familiar with the filter modules though.
