help with sps

#1
in my 5 gallon tank i have a birdsnest colony and a montipora colony, a few months ago i purchased a par38 bulb for the aquarium and they grew great under it. but a few weeks in the bulb overheats so i send it back and it takes them over a month to refund it and send another one to me. so in this time both these corals have pretty much closed up and i am not sure if i can bring them back. does anyone have any ideas? i just got my bulb this evening?

I would tell you to sell the sps corals... they are over rated and difficult to keep! LPS corals have plenty of coral and are no where near as difficult to keep!

well plug in your new bulb test your levels and as long as everythings good and the corals not bleached you be should ok.
