I'm fabricating a HOB style display fuge for my 29gal bio cube since something in the tank has a taste for macros!! I have 2 options
1. Run the fuge low flow on a seperate pump pulling water from the first chamber in the back of the cube and dumping directly into the tank
2. Plumb the fuge directly into the return pump and have the return water going through the fuge and then into the tank. This would be a high flow option.
i guess it comes down to which flow is better. Low flow seems good cause the water has more time to be filtered, but high flow runs more water through faster and won't allow as much detritus to build up
what do you guys think??
