Well I've been working like crazy lately we are under staffed so I have been putting in a lot of hours I'm a CDL driver I'm not suppose to work more than 70 hrs in 7 day without 36hrs off for a restart I was in violation after the first 7 days and I'm going on 14 days in a row this evening and I'm out of town at least till Friday so I'll end up working about 17 or so days in a row so how many days have you worked in a row before?

Last summer I worked 70 plus hours a week for a month straight. 2 days off over the course of 30 days.

I've worked 46 days in a row with quite a few double shifts mixed in with them. That was back when I was younger and
could handle it though.

My old company I was a qa manager for a large production company, worked the entire month of november mostly doubles.
Not sure if it counts though since playing wow and drinking beer was totally acceptable at work :)

I worked a summer on the north slope of Alaska in the oil fields. I worked ten and a half weeks straight, 12 hour days. Made bank, though.

I was a bartender when I was in grad school in FL...did both private parties (for hire) AND worked for a hotel/restaurant on both their regular staff and banquet staff for weddings, holiday parties, etc. Nov-Dec 2004 I worked 23 days straight including what amounted to double shifts almost every Saturday. Oh yea...also had classes in the mornings and exams. I was a zombie.

I was ROLLING in the dough though...paid for school and was able to afford a new motorcycle. Man I wish I had that kind of energy again. Now just the thought of picking up even one bartending shift on top of my regular 8-5 job sounds insane, lol.

I used to work nights at one job that we would only get one day off a months and the morning shift at another. I was only 20 though so it wasn't bad

6 months straight, at least 12 hrs a day in 100+ temps, most of the time carrying gear that weighs more than you do, while getting shot at. Then you get a week of R & R. But I love it!!!

Aren't you worried about getting pulled over and losing your CDL? Is your company going to pay you if you lose your license? What about getting in an accident from being too tired and hurting yourself or someone else?

I have 2 jobs right now, Insurance and Premier. Between the 2 I work every day and have been for the last 3-4 months. However, I don't consider Premier "work". Like they say, when you do something you love you never work a day in your life :)

I doubt they would do anything if I got a ticket there kinda shady I only work there cause there about 3 mile from my house I'm currently seeking new employment but need to keep working until I find some. I'm not tired at all I get plenty of sleep I'm just still in violation cause I never received a restart I would never put myself or anyone else in danger if I felt I was endangering anyone I would refuse to work.
