How much does your PH swing?

I noticed mine is swinging from about 8.35 to 8.48 over the course of 24 hours, wondering how out of norm that is? What is a acceptable fluctuation in PH?

how are you guys able to tell down to a fraction of a point? My test kit irritates me to the point that I hate checking it at all because I can't tell the difference between one shade of purple and the next.

Ooohhhh...

Clearly I need to learn more about this reefkeeper thingie. Right now I'm just using it as a very expensive timer to turn lights on and off, and to turn off the return pump for feeding. It seems a bit overpriced for that.

I use channel 1 for Blue LED's, Channel 2 White LED's, Channel 3 heater set to turn off if the tank reaches 82 degrees, Channel 4 is skimmer turns off for 20 minutes (standby) when I dose.

Mine hits about 8.38 during the day and drops usually to 8.1 at night and nothing seems affected so I'd say your ph swing is okay. I need to get the NET module so I can be even more obsessed with my tank than I already am!!! ;)
