How wet do you skim???

This is less then 24 hours. As you can see it's still a little on wet side however it was held right up to the fuge light. Even though it's wet you can see the nice chunks mr saltwater tank was talking about.

I usually dump my cup 2x a week to avoid it potentially overflowing...but forgot to this week. Here's a week's worth of skimmate.

Mine is wet, look a lot like what Andrew_bram posted #22. I get about 1-2 gallons a day. After years of playing around with wet or dry, I like wet because it smells less, easier to clean, and the neck of the skimmer doesn't gunk up as fast.

1-2 gallons how big is your tank. I need to see it.

Dave has a 72 bow front...
I will say this.. he has one of the best tanks around I am often inspired by his tank.

So I dried my skim just a little more and it may be anecdotal. the mesh I had in the tank acting as an algae scrubber has stopped growing algae. So much so that all the algae in it is now gone. Time to feed a little heavier.
