I think my Starfish is in bad shape

My starfish is not looking so hot. What is happening to him? He looks like one of his legs is dissolving. I know that sometimes they can loose limbs and regrow them but, i believe from the looks of him that

he has seen better days.

How long have you had it? Sea stars are very sensitive creatures. Abrupt salinity changes or any other tank param change can really take a toll. Hopefully it pulls through.

about a month.

its dead, take it out.

unfortunately mine did that after about a year for no apparent reason ....took about a month for it to dissolve enough to die
