Hey guys, I've got a build thread up for this but wanted to see if anyone had good suggestions for modifications to a fusion nuvo 30L. This is the tank as it is today:
30L Nuvo Fusion
Black sand
20 lbs Live Rock
Coralife 2xT5 ATI Coral Plus//Blue Plus
Here's the upgrades I've added so far:
I pulled off the back black plastic as it was super scratched already, I then glued an LED 5k light to the back panel where my "refugium" is, this has red dragon in it currently with another type of slow growing green macro.
I replaced the stock pump with 2 maxijet 600's. I am still not satisfied with the flow but it's ok for now - I think I'm getting around 24g/h
The stock media basket has been upgraded to the better one, I've currently got filter floss, carbon, chemipure, purigen running through it but going to pull back to just Filter floss, ROX, and GFO when I get my next paycheck.
On the other side I've got the upgraded IM filter sock that I clean 2x/week.
I replaced the directional nozzle with the hydor rotating nozzles (I'm not happy with these either as they pop off when the tank is around 2 gallons low on water from burnoff.
Any other mods to add? Thanks!
