Any suggestions on a smaller skimmer for a 20g sump feeding a 55g tank? Due to dividers working with faily small space. My Reef Octopus is extremely sensitive to elevation of the water or I'm just doing something wrong. Think it may be overkill anyways in my tank.

Any ideas on a brand, that would be best in terms of plug it and not worry about it other than cleaning cup out? I'm ok with not having the best performance and pulling twice what my tank is. Maybe one of the larger nano types? With 5 small-medium fish I don't think my load is probably too heavy.

For not buying a new skimmer at rs!! What was the company that was by he masc both?
CADLight. Once I figured out the adjustment its been rocking ever since. I pulled some gunk out within the first 24 hours, pretty sweet considering it hasn't officially broken in yet.

Pix? Mine is pulling out tea colored stuff. It does have a really nice foam head today. Did you do a vinegar soak.

Is it pretty easy to adjust for water level in sump?
Yup, turn the pipe. The main selling factors for me were ; it doesn't need a certain water level (started mine at 7, now it's at 13" water depth), quiet operation, low wattage draw, and drilled cup.

I'm extremely happy with it so far

Re: Kicking my self

I have to say I absolutely love both my skimmers I got from cad this is my large Skimmer after 12 hrs and small Skimmer after 2hrs, I know cad St up their small Skimmer on the frag booth next to the which was only 25 gallons and it was working like a champ. Eddie was great to deal with id give them a thought for sure
