Hello to everyone. Over the weekend one or my korailia 1400 magnets split and I am down one pump. I have been asking myself this for months should I make the leap to a vortech. I have a standard 125 gallon 6 foot reef ready tank. It is a fowlr tank I have around 125-150 pounds of lr. So here is the option that I can come up with.

1. One mp40
2. One mp40 and a mp10
3. Or just one big old mp60

So you think one mp40. I am been reading up on the mp40 most people say that it can only reach out to about 4 feet? That is why I was thinking of adding a pm10.

2 mp40.... i had one full blast in a 55 and it wasnt enough on the other end...had to compensate with 2 koralia evo1400.

I had one MP40 on my 110g reef that was 5' long, worked great on Reefcrest mode. I did have some good laminar flow coming from my return nozzles on the tank too, so that might have helped a bit.
