I know odd but I'm looking for some dead montipora chunks. Anyone that is going to the Aquatic Art meeting happen to have and dead montipora skeletons laying around?
Ive got some type of dead plating coral, not sure if its monti or not, but its definatly a plating coral. Ill bring it to the meeting, if you want it you can have it. I also have a decent size birdnest skeleton if your interested in that as well.
Sorry failed to respond earlier. I want to start growing larger xoa colonies on them. As anyone who has seen my tank knows, I do not grow or glue frags on things that aren't detachable. Never know when something needs to be fragged at a moments notice
So yes looking for larger flat Monti caps or plating corals that are dead
You got it Chad, Ill have a nice chunk for you at the meeting, you might want to remind me a day or so before the meeting, my minds all over the place these days. LOL
You know if I had the room Doug I def would take you up on that lol. I actually do have a red cap and idaho grape and I do knock of chunks at random but thats not enough. If you ever end up with "scrapes" you cant give away let me know
*Btw these chunks really are working great for both SPS and Zoa frag transplants allowing me to grow them into colonies with having them grow all over my rock work.
