So I am fighting a Majano battle and would like to hear some feed back on he Majano wand. I have been using joes juice and it is keeping them at bay, but it is expensive and messy to use in the aquarium. Considering the investment of $120 on the Majano wand but don't want to be disappointed.

never used the wand but joes juice and aptasia X both worked for me. Kalc past works to and a whole lot cheaper.

Really a peppermint shrimp took care of majanos, I have used then before for aptasia. I am a little concerned of using Kalk because wouldn't that cause a spike in calcium?

Turn all of your pumps off and squirt the kalk on the 'nems slowly. I use a syringe that comes with a salifert test kit. It will come out like really thick if you slow it down. I usually let it sit for a hour or two before I turn the pumps back on. It doesn't take much to get em.

Lately, I have been using boiling RO water. This is safer around other corals. It melts them pretty good. Squirt it out SLOWLY.

I have had peps eat it. I have also had copperbands get 'em.

My wand burnt up in less than a week. Cant remember the brand but I think I paid around $80, its been a couple years. Bought a file fish that was the shiz until it jumped on to the overflow cover and became jerky two weeks ago. He was the hardest worker in the tank.
