May have found the source of my recent algea outbreak...

One of the freshwater tanks with rainbow fish at the Downtown Aquarium was wiped out when the cleaning crew sprayed the tank with window cleaner

Hey Jack, if you think you have some of that oil tangled in that chaeto, throw it out, mine is in serious need of trimming.

Glad you found it sooner than later! Hope all works out.
Reminds me of several years ago when we had a maid in our new house. I came home and she had decided to clean the new oven and had the windows closed. I ran downstairs to my aviary to find my two beloved blue and gold macaws dead on the floor. Animals can't deal with all that we try to.

Thanks everyone!! I had to go to work so I haven't been able to see anything since 130!!
Jahmic- it was actually right AFTER the skimmer so it would have had to go through my entire system to get back to the skimmer!! I keep lots of flow in all chambers of my sump except the fuge so nothing can settle anywhere.
I haven't heard anything from the wife and her mission was to look at the tank tonight and call if anything looks wierd, so...

Wow, scary to see, hopefully everything turns out as well as Kalgra's tank did after his lotion experiment.
