Might be buying off craigslist, hesitant

So I might be buying a larger tank found a 29 gal, stand, canopy, sump, pump.

Any suggestions of what to look for? I don't think this person is on MASC so I am a little hesitant.

I would go and check it out. We got our 72 bowfront on craigslist, and he was the one who referred us to MASC, and it is an awesome tank. Craigslist can have really good stuff or really bad stuff, but it's worth checking out.

Yea, that's why I am looking on here first. I know some people are looking at downsizing or consolidating so we'll see what I can find here.

I have a 46 bow not RR have overflow, standand canopy can outfit it with sump, pumps lights whatever you want.

If you buy a tank, really inspect the seams - if in doubt, ask to fill it with water from a hose. At least from here you know you're not going to get a bad tank. Overpriced, maybe - but not bad, lol.

Did you do it? I did it and worked out great. I got a complete 120 for 380ish. Tank, stand, canopy, fans, mh, sump, mag 12, skimmer w/mag 5, plumbing. If you're up really early on saturdays you'll come across killer deals.

Nah, I am going to wait. I really want a reef ready system and missed a 75 gal reef ready for cheap. Figured if I am going to upgrade I should go 75 gal.
