I have seen for a long time the term "morph". How does this happen? And is it mainly all in our tanks that this happens?

A morph usually occurs under different lights. But many factors can change the appearance, usually water quality and lights.

Not a new pic, but you can see the blue on some of the skirts. This is different from the original.

So all a morph is, is a color change really. Is this due to the lights we use and supplements?

Extreme conditions, even excessive nitrate or phosphate can cause morphing, odds are good if you buy a morph it will change back in your tank.
