Murphy's law

10 min. After telling my uncle who was kicking a ball around to be careful not to kick the ball into my light knocking it into the tank, I bumped into my light knocking it in to the tank. When I pulled the light out water spilled off the light on to my mp10. When I picked up the mp10 I saw my fav. wrasse had jumped earlier in the day and was already dried up.

I wish it was just in a movie. Any chance the mp10 will dry out or is it shot? I put it in a room with a large dehumidifier all night and just tried it tonight and it is showing a red bar.

if the mp10 was powered on , and i assume it was, and it got wet chances are you shorted it out and drying it out wont help ...a new controller is only $55 and they will probably cut you a deal on a new one if its in warranty if you call them ...if its a dry side, i have an extra and we can probably work something out

Sucks balls man. Is the light still working? If it went off I would take it apart and give it an alcohol bath before trying to turn it back on.

So if I buy the controller, do I cut the cord and wire it up or how does that work?

Oh man that sucks. Those MP's should be water proof for as much as they cost.

Yeah...I had a MP-40 get wet on me before. Switched out the controller and works great again. I would email them first before buying one. They usually help out alot more then one would think.

The controler says display model only not for resale. I don't think they will comp me. I thought I would be out the full price so $55 is cool with me.
