My SQWD is stuck?

Recently my SQWD has been getting stuck flowing longer no one side than the other. I thought that it might be my flow rate since I upgraded from an Iwaki 55 to a 70. It is the 3/4 in. version so do I need to scale up or do these things need to be cleaned?

...bast from the past for me, but vinegar/muratic-acid baths did seem to help. They just break too - they are plastic. Give it a shot cleaning it.

Just tried turning off the pump and the side that wasn't staying on purged some air when I plugged the pump back in and so far it is working again.
