Any audiophiles out there? Need some help. I currently have a Denon 2805 (piece of crap, hate it!) on my main floor area. From that it goes to a Sonance 260 amp and then to a 6 way switch that goes to speakers throughout my house. I can select which rooms have the sound based on what I turn on on the switch. Recently the amp has died and only one channel works so either the left or right speakers has sound depending on which side I have pulled in. So I need a new amp. Any recommendations? I do not want to spend a lot of money. Just want to be able to play music throughout the house for parties and what not. On a side note, any receiver advice? Apparently the Denon for zones 2 or 3 which the house speakers are on will only play an analog input? WTF! So because my tv is an optical input (stupid denon does not have HDMI) it won't play the audio from it. Any receivers out there that don't care what the source input is for zones 2 and 3? I think my Onkyo 876 has the same problem but it is in the basement theater so never use it's 2 and 3 zones.

This doesn't really sound like a problem with the receiver. Probably made before HDMI became the standard. They do make HDMI to optical converters. So that could be an option instead of buying a new receiver, at least cheaper. Not really familiar with amplifier options since I have always owned speakers with built in amplifiers.
