So I have decided to get the aquailuminations led for my 300 mixted reef! Now I'm torn between the ai sol blue or whites please give feedback


300 gallon mixed reef
90 gallon bowfront fowlr

no idea but you might find some used ones on the evil empire (RC) with all the new led's coming out

Hands down get the whites. SOL whites can be tuned to look just as get as a blue while you're home and can throw more par while you're away.

I'll have to find the thread but someone compared them side by side and the blue was getting more par deeper I heard the royal blue makes things really pop?

That's interesting. I thought I heard the opposite, but I may be wrong. In that case, I would go with which ever one puts out more because either one can be tuned to look almost like the other anyway.

IIRC the sol blues put out as much par as the whites. IMO I would go with the sol blues. The whites are way too white especially at lower intensities. I have the sol blues and still have my white intensity about 10 points lower than the b/rb.
