Need quick thoughts. 125g standard as a sump?

Looking at a guys beat up 125. Wondering if that'd be reasonable to work with dimension for my basement sump on my 300?

Was worried about too deep being an issue or something. Last sump I used was a 75 or 90 forget, on my 210. But I'm rusty and don't want to miss something.

Figure on 125 overflows just a bonus if it overflows I can run to drain or plukb in a another big refugium or something.

That is what I use. You can fit any size skimmer in it that you can think of... or several skimmers. The tank is stong enough that you can set stuff on top of it. I have one of those common 24x24x12 frag tanks just sitting on top and draining into the sump. I have had my chiller on top of it too.
