I know, I have been following all of your threads and I actually ran an algae scrubber for a long time, however the mess in dealing with one became such a pain I took it down. I have not tried this version, and I dont think I will due to my current tank set up. However, I will continue follow your progress with these!

The picture you linked looks like Gracilaria Hayi to me. I think the person on WWM misidentified it. One of the many display macros I keep. Its never been invasive for me...

Ah, so it is the one we talked about. I just wasnt sure because mine has never gotten very long. And its not really super invasive, but it is slowly growing over stuff and when a piece tears off the thing can spread to a new locations. I am mostly worried about it growing over my zoas.

It has never caused a issue for me in my system and has never attached to anything except for what I glued it to. I had it in my display for well over a year before I moved all my macros to my fuges.
