I am just curious if anyone got the new PS4 yet and what they think? I am also curious who is holding out for the new XBOX.

I personally haven't seen the advantage to these over my PC since I use it as a DVR, gaming, full blown internet, bluray and connects to my HDTV. Most the games get released for PC as well with less restrictions.

dang 2 for XBOX? Did you guys not see the whole DRM stunt they tried to pull? Then that sensor that can sense your heartbeat and where you're at in the house. It's like an NSA dream come true lol.

My newest game console. I have not played a game newer than this. Seriously.

Granted games aren't everything to me you should give some new games a shot! Some of these titles inspire as much as any good book.

As much as I want a PS4; until the games can be purchased on Gamefly for $10-$15 I will probably hold out. I don't need to have the latest and greatest game as soon as its released. Why spend $60-$70 for a game when you can get it 6 months later for $10.... I got mouths to feed man!!!!!

Lol agreed. I usually buy games close to a year after release...and probably won't get a PS4 until used games are available and more of the exclusives are released.

I have a few of this year's PS3 games on the radar still...and might not pick them up until holiday sales roll around.

If you go Xbox, Dell has a deal where you buy a $400 gift card, you get $75 free, I then used both to nab the xbox...

Plus you get 5% back if you use your Discover card, and another 5% back if you're a Dell Advantage member (free signup).

Figured I'd throw this out for those on the fence, how can you NOT afford one now??

As a straight gaming device I think that the PS4 edges out the Xbox One. However, as an overall entertainment system I think the Xbox wins hands down. Plus the price is only a 40 dollar difference if you take into account that the Xbox comes with the Kinect, but the PS4 Eye is a 60 dollar upgrade.

I'm sticking with my PS3 and it's library of disk and psn games. They made a huge mistake in cutting ties to the old consoles titles. Starting over is not in my budget. I'm glad to hear that 1.5 mil people can afford to do so. Our economy must be really booming. :)

I have ps4, still not 100% able to tell the difference from ps3. Loading is way faster. Cross party chat is awesome. Screenshot sharing and the phone app are awesome. Some areas of New games the technology is very apparent. But I don't think it is at its full potential yet. The ps3 was never used to its full potential.

Gabe, I'm waiting until March/April to make a decision, that way the bugs can be worked out. I'm leaning towards the Xbox One because of the cable integration.

I do admit that having your cable box come though the console is a pretty good idea. It saves you a HDMI port and you can put the cable box out of the way.
